This past weekend was a busy one for the Sonnenberg's. It started on Thursday when Chris's family came for an overnight visit. School was officially out but I was still babysitting so we had a full house. Then Friday Mike and my niece Katie, Rob and his clan, and Steven came. Saturday Mark and Tammy made it, and on Sunday, Dave and his kids and my cousin Chris and Harlene and a few of there kids came too! Not to mention Tammy's family that made the trip and some local friends. Your probably wondering what the occasion was. Well Mark and Tammy had my dad bless Ella in church on Sunday. He did a wonderful job. It was a beautiful blessing.
This was also a special occasion because it is the first time that the whole family has been together since my wedding!! Almost 8 years ago! We were missing some grand kids and some spouses but all my parents kids were together. It was fun to be together and catch up. Mom was stressed out all weekend but she was a great host!
This one is all the grand kids that were present. We were missing Mike's other 3 and Dave's youngest. All together, my parents have 18 grand kids!! Of course there had to be one that wasn't happy about getting her picture taken. Of course it was mine. I had to bribe Olivia with candy, but she wouldn't look up in any of the pictures!
I feel bad that I never got a picture of Ella in her blessing dress. She looked beautiful! Tammy's parents neighbor made the dress. It was gorgeous!
