Halloween 2011

What?! A new post from Karyn! I know shocker! But come on, it's only been like 7 months. If I actually start blogging again everything will be out of order since this is Halloween and I have so much to get caught up on. Oh well. Here are the cute kiddos!
We went to pumkings in the park at Kershaw Ryan. Abby and Olivia painted pumkins and I chased around Brady. Kaylee decided to help a friend babysit that night so she missed out.

 Abby was a gypsy

 Olivia was a rock star

 Brady was a golfer

 The girls before school....
 Getting her face painted...
Kaylee and Baylee called themselves sleepyheads. I only look like that when I have modivation to look nice the next day!
                                                           Awww... Abby is so beautiful!
Brady and Abby both won first place in the costume contest!

Back in April

I guess I started a post back in April and never finished it. Not
really surprised. My attention span hasn't been real great latlely. I tend to start lots of things and either get distracted, get interupted, or forget what I was doing. Mom, I can finally relate. It sure is frustrating to constantly forget what is was you were doing.

Here are some cute pictures of Brady. While we were without a bathtub he got to really enjoy having a shower.

The rest of the photos are from my dear friends wedding. She was such a gorgeous bride. The girls and I had a fabulous time on this special day.

Someone stole my camera and this is what I found. Oh my, who could possibly have done such a thing!

Cleaned out the memory card

I forgot that I had a memory card full of pictures! I'm not the best picture taker, and most of the time I don't even think to get the camera out. (Sorry kids) Here are some from Christmas and a few recent ones.

Love his look in this one :)

Christmas Eve and all ready for bed in their new jammies!

Santa left a note this year. He was greatly displeased with the way the girls had been acting. He didn't have the heart not to come but he did leave a strongly worded letter.  It got to Kaylee. I was thinking about framing it for when they get out of line during the year.

Olivia was just a little excited about her new Justin Beiber doll. Yeah, he even sings, be jealous.
Look at that handsome guy in his new sock monkey shoes. Awwww....

During a moment of complete insanity, I decided it would be fun to make the girls each a blanket for Christmas. They turned out cute and I am quite proud of myself.

I totally surprised Chris with a new Nike driver. It's hard to surprise each other, but with the help of a friend I was able to do it. He loves it, but now thinks he needs more golfing trips. I told him he could go to Pioche whenever he wants! :)

awww. Love him.

I'm so grateful for this crew!

Even the doll has to have saggy pants. That's Justin BTW, he is now part of the family.

7 year old Abby is finally starting to lose some teeth! She lost these two just after Christmas.

He loves to rub his head when he is tired. :)

Is my carpet that dirty? or is he just practicing his parachuting form?

It makes me sad to think Chris might have never gotten his son. Brady loves to watch football with Dad.
Can't waste time by changing out of church clothes!

I'm sorry other people with babies, but he is the cutest! Don't you just want to kiss those cheeks!

Getting ready for Sunday in his new beanie. Chris has a matching one :) Go Packers!

Can't think of a witty title. All I can think about is cake.

Is life really worth living without a little of this?
How can something so glorious and good be so bad?
I'm sure it's someones birthday somewhere so it wouldn't really be cheating.... right?

2010 quick revue

I have been slacking in just about every aspect of my life right now. My family, work, church calling, household chores, exercise, and diet- you name it, and I’m not doing it. At least not to the extent that I should be. I have lots of ideas for new year’s resolutions though!

One thing that I put off this holiday season was a family Christmas card and family newsletter. I was looking back at our year today and decided that I would at least share the highlights on the good ol’ blog. So here is my top 10 list for 2010….

10. Had a chimney fire, very lucky that there was no damage done

9. Served on a jury for the first time

8. Found out we were expecting a boy

7. Camped at Great Basin National Park

6. Chris spent a week rafting the Colorado River

5. Sent Mom and Dad off to the Philippines for their 3rd mission

4. Watched my niece get baptized

3. Had my whole family together, minus Mom and Dad

2. Watched my dear brother get sealed to his beautiful wife

1. Christopher Brady was born!

Even though much of the year was spent traveling to doctors or just being at home we really did have a great year. We have so much to be thankful for. We have steady employment, a roof over our heads, good health, amazing friends, and a more amazing family. The girls continue to learn and to grow and to try my patience, but I love them more and more every day.

I can’t wait to see what 2011 has in store. I just hope it brings happiness, health, prosperity, and a smaller waist line!
